Lee Cronin's The Mummy
A supernatural horror film in which a family's missing daughter is returned eight years later, transformed by an ancient evil. This is a hard-R entry firmly in body-horror territory, with graphic gore, sustained threat involving children, and no resemblance to the PG-13 adventure versions of The Mummy franchise.
