Steel Magnolias

Movie · 1989

A warmly funny and deeply emotional drama about friendship among six Louisiana women, anchored by a storyline involving serious illness, a medically risky pregnancy, and the death of a major character. The grief in the film's final act is sustained and raw, making this the primary sensitivity concern for adult viewers.
